Joe Cocker in Prague
Joe Cocker, one of the most famous pop music legends and one of the best living artists taking part in legendary Woodstock, is getting back to Prague to present his new album. On the one side the most steady, personal and cultic voice of living legend that glares more than 40 years, on the other hand film producer and musician who is able to combine tastefully all his qualities.
Joe Cocker is an English rock/blues singer who came to popularity in 1960s, he is best known for his gritty voice and cover versions of popular songs. Joe Cocker was born in 1944 and started his musical career in the pubs of Sheffield. In 1963 his band Vance Arnold supported the Rolling Stones at Sheffiled City Hall and in 1964 he brought out his first single with a new band. In 1969 he appeared at Woodstock Music Festival. After drog and alcohol problems in 1970s he managed to make a comeback in 1980s and 1990s with several hits.
